iSAMS launches new Student Cloud Portal for a streamlined, student-first digital experience
iSAMS is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned Student Cloud Portal – a central hub designed to give students a consistent, intuitive, and accessible way to manage school life online.
Building on iSAMS’ commitment to continuously enhancing the end user experience, the upgraded portal has been developed with students at its heart.
A consistent, connected experience across devices
Like the iSAMS Parent Cloud Portal, the new Student Cloud Portal has been built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) to improve cross-platform compatibility. Students benefit from a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and smartphone, with an intuitive, fully responsive interface that adapts seamlessly to their preferred device.
The PWA architecture also enables push notifications, helping students stay informed about key announcements, timetable changes, homework, and school updates – all delivered directly to their device of choice.
New dashboard widgets to keep students organised
The redesigned portal introduces a range of student-focused dashboard widgets to help learners stay on top of daily school life, including:
- A daily timetable view for quick access to upcoming lessons
- A homework widget highlighting outstanding assignments and deadlines
The homework widget is also available on the Parent Cloud Portal, empowering parents to support their child’s workload and upcoming deadlines at home.
Dedicated Homework module for better assignment management
Alongside the new portal, iSAMS has introduced a brand-new Homework module within the MIS. This allows schools to:
- Create and manage assignments
- Set deadlines
- Upload supporting documents and links
Once created in iSAMS, assignments can be published to both the Student and Parent Cloud Portals, ensuring visibility and engagement across the wider school community.
Popular features include:
- Timetable and attendance tracking
View daily schedules and monitor attendance. - Homework and exam management
Centralised access to upcoming assignments, deadlines, and exam dates. - School notices and announcements
Important updates delivered directly to students via the portal. - Push notifications
Alerts for timetable changes, homework and school communications, sent straight to students’ devices.
Accessibility-first design
Accessibility has been a key focus in the redesign. The new Student Cloud Portal follows accessibility standards to deliver a clear, inclusive experience for all students, supporting schools’ obligations around equitable access to digital learning environments.
Flexible integrations via Cloud Portal APIs
To support schools with existing digital ecosystems, the release also includes access to Cloud Portal APIs, enabling iSAMS data to be securely surfaced within other student platforms.

Authentication is handled via Single Sign-On (SSO), and an iSAMS API subscription is required.
