We’ve migrated more than 1,300 schools away from other school databases, with data intact and secure. Over 170 schools each year migrate from every major school MIS competitor and all sorts of quirky standalone systems – you can be confident you’re in safe hands.
We created iSAMS because there was nothing on the market capable of doing what teachers really wanted an MIS to do. And we worked directly with teachers to scope and build the first version. Years later, that approach remains the same.
iSAMS is the fastest-growing school MIS because it continues to evolve in alignment with what schools need and want. Our whole build and release process follows feedback from our client and partner schools.
Let us help to drive efficiencies throughout your school by migrating to an MIS that is intuitive, flexible and evolves with your needs.
iSAMS is a cloud-based system where schools benefit from a cloud-hosted solution because staff, students and parents can use the system at home and on the move, as well as school. It’s not just more efficient, it lifts communication and engagement across the school.
The advantage of iSAMS is that we looked at maximum need and designed in versatility. That means iSAMS can be used by schools for any age group, private or public sector, single site or Multi-Academy Trusts, UK or abroad.
Whilst this was a long process, because of the nature of our data storage, it was helpful in highlighting whether or not the information we had was accurate and if anything was disjointed. However, once our data was sorted it was very quick to import it into iSAMS and everything was accurate once the system was up and running.
Any mass installation process is going to be a little taxing, but our migration over to iSAMS went pretty smoothly. I was given various templates to complete by their Installs Team and they were always on hand to answer any questions I had. Overall, we managed to migrate 90% of the data we held on our previous MIS and, given how extensively we had used our previous system, I was pretty pleased with this outcome.
Whilst the process initially looked quite daunting, I was able to export the data from our old MIS by spreadsheet and copy it across into a spreadsheet iSAMS sent us. Telephone conversations with iSAMS’ Installs Team were also available to add clarity where needed.
Ultimately the migration process was hugely successful, and we were able to accurately move information from our old system across to iSAMS.
