That’s why we developed a module specifically designed to help you create and compile interim, full end-of-term and yearly reports for all students and their parents.
With School Reporting, not only can multiple members of staff write reports for the same subject for each student, but with no restrictions on grades, test scores or comments, you can really make them your own. Adding your own school’s terminology, creating bespoke school reports without sacrificing on a wide range of features has never been easier.
Just to make report writing even more accessible, our iReport App enables you to write and log reports wherever you are, with full functionality on smartphones and tablets. Easy to set up and use, you can even check past reports and grades on the move.

Use intuitive report templates
As part of the School Reporting module, we also offer our schools a variety of report templates as part of an extensive Reports Catalogue. Designed to cover your specific reporting needs, each of these can be easily populated and/or amended in-house depending on your individual requirements.
As an added bonus, there’s no limit to the number of printing templates you can use with our SQL Server Reporting Services. This means you can incorporate significant data from multiple areas of your iSAMS MIS – including Exams, Reward and Conduct, and Registration modules if needed.
Plus, using templates for grades, test scores, results, and class position, with unlimited comment sections, enables you to use these for multiple cycles by creating a level of standardisation that can be edited and copied when you need to, saving you time each report season.
Create custom reports
Whilst our catalogue of reports comes in very handy when producing most of your school reports, there may be times when you need something a little more bespoke.
When this is the case, our dedicated Reporting Services team will be on hand to liaise with you and ensure we develop something that fulfils your specific needs.
It may be that you only require minor amends to an existing template, such as incorporating your school’s logo, name, header or font; in which case they will adapt this free of charge.
However, for something more specific, bespoke report creation is also available. Through this unique additional service, we can help you identify trends, strengths and weaknesses, and create presentational reports for different stakeholders at your school.
Run the school census
A central part of school reporting is the ability to efficiently respond to governmental censuses and industry surveys, and this is what our Census Manager module enables you to do quickly and accurately through a series of simple inbuilt reports.
With our dedicated module, you can ensure you covering all the areas you need for DFE and ISC censuses, including: current and former teaching staff, students’ on-register boarding status, SEN study of male and female students, plus an ethnic category and country of residence matrix.
Furthermore, this module enables you to complete British parent surveys for HMF, provide information on the destination of school leavers and fill out key reports for your school’s ISI inspection. It also includes a series of additional useful reports for curriculum and staff, admissions registers, and communication and matrixes for applicants, students and alumni.
I would say buy iSAMS. I would recommend it highly for independent and international schools. I can’t think of an MIS system that would do a better job. In particular the school is delighted with the way iSAMS has turned reporting around by streamlining data, and the ease of use in day-to-day management of the school. We can now provide a better education for our pupils.
Gone were the days of a Head of Year waiting for someone in Admin to print them a simple Year Group list, or the PE Staff asking me for a complex output report of medical/dietary issues to take with them on a Sports Trip. Now our staff could get all the information they needed themselves and with minimal training. In fact, the more adventurous staff were so excited by this newfound capability they were demonstrating many of the invaluably useful features they had found to one another.
