iSAMS launches new Parent Cloud Portal for streamlined school communication
iSAMS is pleased to announce the launch of its enhanced Parent Cloud Portal. The solution has been completely redesigned, with the goal of enhancing the end user experience and improving school-parent communication.
With this release, parents can stay up to date on, and engaged with, their child’s progress through the platform. The Parent Cloud Portal offers parents a host of self-service features for more efficient absence requests, monitoring of student progress, paying relevant fees, accessing key documents, and more.
The iSAMS Parent Cloud Portal is now available to schools and features all the functionality that iSAMS schools have come to expect from their portal – with a new and improved interface that prioritises the user experience. Built as a progressive web app, and accessible according to WCAG 2.1 standards, the new portal is flexible and ensures that all users have the same experience, no matter the device.
Among the new additions are seamless push notifications, enabling parents to receive real-time updates quickly. The release also includes new dashboard widgets, designed to provide intuitive visualisation of key student data. The commitment to improving the user experience is demonstrated by accessibility-first formatting. The Progressive Web App structure streamlines development and releases, while Cloud Portal APIs make it simple to integrate with existing school websites and portals.
“It’s important that all iSAMS solutions are clear and intuitive for all users, and this portal has been redesigned with that and current accessibility standards in mind. This latest release is an exciting step forward in education software, providing a comprehensive and streamlined experience for all users.” – Nic Clark, Product Owner at iSAMS
