We are pleased to announce that iSAMS has agreed a new integration partnership with ManageBac and OpenApply, software solutions provided by Faria Systems Inc.
ManageBac has become the academic management system of choice for International Baccalaureate (IB) schools with over 1,600 schools using its products worldwide. Following nearly a decade of significant product research and development (R&D) and having achieved a hard-earned reputation for excellence in both implementation and service, ManageBac is considered the clear market leader in its field.
The new integration partnership with ManageBac reflects our joint commitment to work together to reduce duplicative product development and to re-focus R&D resources on core products. For iSAMS this includes the core iSAMS Management Information System (academic, pastoral and administration), Communications, Mobile Apps and Fee Billing/Accounts.
It is also intended that our partnership will strengthen R&D capabilities, enhance our geographic support coverage (in the EU for ManageBac and in Asia for iSAMS), and provide mutual schools with a superior solution that has both breadth of functionality and depth through years of R&D.
Specifically, it will encompass:
- Single-Sign-On: to allow seamless access to iSAMS, ManageBac, OpenApply and partner authentication integrations.
- Data Synchronisation: to keep demographic data in sync across all systems and to allow for import of timetables into ManageBac.
- OpenApply: to provide online admissions for independent schools with local UK hosting and service.
For existing non-IB schools using iSAMS, there is very little change at this time. All client schools will be contacted to officially introduce OpenApply; with a number of schools already looking for similar products, connecting this solution will be a priority. We will also be working closely with ManageBac to offer existing InterSIS schools a seamless migration to the iSAMS Management Information System.
Jamie Reid, Director at iSAMS is excited about the partnership, “We have been working closely with Theodore King, CEO at Faria and his team over the last 12 months to identify innovative opportunities for integrating our software solutions and enhancing R&D to the benefit of our respective schools. With a similar company history and a common vision for the future, we are looking forward to working with ManageBac to create the first integrated Management Information System for IB Schools”.
Should you have any specific questions about the partnership, please contact Jamie Reid via [email protected] or call +44 (0) 1604 659100.
