Intro to Wellbeing Manager and enhanced features for automation

Student wellbeing has been a topic of growing importance for several years now, and the after-effects of the pandemic have pushed the issue into sharp relief for schools, teachers, parents and guardians around the world.

Wellbeing issues often manifest in behavioural changes, however, identifying subtle changes in behaviour for hundreds or even thousands of students can be a huge challenge for school staff. That’s where the iSAMS Wellbeing Manager comes in!

Our Wellbeing Manager module was designed to help school staff record, monitor and manage student concerns, supplying a centralised location for staff to access vital information and offer proactive, preventative pastoral care.

We created a new workflow feature within the module to enable school staff to identify trends that indicate a wellbeing concern or an achievement. If a student exhibits a pattern of behaviour, such as frequently being late to (or absent from) lessons, a workflow can be created that triggers an ‘indicator’ (or notification) for relevant staff members, empowering them to act on the issue immediately.

Worflows can therefore eliminate the need for staff to manually run reports by automating the process, saving a considerable amount of time and bringing key data to light immediately.
